I woke up today feeling like shit. Didn’t shower, didn’t bother to do my hair or even check twice on the clothes I had on. But a couple hours ago, Patrick comes over to say hi, took one look at me and tells me I look very beautiful today. And just like that, the simplicity of his words. The way he said it, like it was a matter of fact thing. He turned my entire day upside down and made it right side up. I can’t fully explain exactly how he’s able to do this. How he can make me feel so incredibly safe and happy. The only word that comes to mind is LOVE.
